Aerolineas Argentinas signed an agreement with Airbus for four A330-200, airplanes to be delivered between 2015 and 2016. This $ 865 million order, at list prices, will help airline Aerolineas Argentinas streamline its long-haul fleet. Airbus A330-200 consumes 13.5% less fuel compared to A340-200 and less 19,5% compared to A340-300.

They will be configured in two classes: 24 of passengers in Business class and 248 of seats in Economy. Each place will benefit from individual entertainment system and ambient lighting. Two new aircraft will be delivered in the first and second quarters of the year 2015 and the other two in 2016.

At present, Aerolineas Argentinas (SkyTeam company) has a fleet of 39 aircraft: one Airbus A330-200 rented from ILFC, 4 Airbus A340-200, 8 Airbus A340-300, 22 Boeing 737-700 and 4 Boeing 737-800 plus 35 aircraft on request. Operates flights to 18 international destinations in Europe (Barcelona, ​​Rome, Madrid) and America.
