The stolen aircraft DHC-8-402Q Horizon Air crashed
A technician, from Seattle / Tacoma in Washington, USA, stole a Bombardier Dash 8 Horizon Air aircraft and took off without the consent of the control tower.
Today there was an atypical plane crash. An 29-year-old technician from Seattle / Tacoma in Washington, USA, stole a Bombardier Dash 8 Horizon Air (a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group) and took off without the consent of the control tower.
A McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighter jet was immediately dispatched to escort the aircraft. It was tried to bring it to the ground. Unfortunately, the young man didn't listen to anyone's orders. He did some stunts with the aircraft, and eventually collapsed at 40 miles from Seattle / Tacoma Airport.

An Alaska Airlines spokesman said the plane was in a separate area of the airport and was undergoing a technical review when it was taken. It was not scheduled for passenger flight. The airport, known as Sea-Tac, has been closed. So does the airline around the airport.
