Qatar Airways widebody aircraft to Eastern Europe

Qatar Airways has updated the 2018 / 2019 winter schedule. Our attention was drawn to the fact that it will increase transport capacity to some destinations in Eastern Europe, made possible by the introduction of larger or larger capacity aircraft.

We are in full summer season, and the airlines are already preparing for the 2018-2019 winter season. Qatar Airways has made a few updates in the winter schedule, which will debut on October 28 2018.

It will increase transport capacity to Sofia, Prague and Warsaw by introducing aircraft with greater transport capacity. Some flights will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner or A330 widebody aircraft.

Qatar Airways widebody aircraft

From October 28, 2018, the QR291 / QR292 flights on the Doha - Prague route will be operated with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, replacing the current Airbus A320. Every day, Qatar Airways will operate a rotation with Dreamliner and a rotation with A320.

From October 28, 2018, the flights QR227 / QR228 on the route Doha - Sofia, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will be operated with Airbus A321 aircraft, replacing the current Airbus A320. In other words, 4 weekly rotations will be operated with A321, and the other 7 weekly rotations will be operated with A320.

From October 28, 2018, flights QR263 / QR264 and QR259 / QR260 on the route Doha - Warsaw will be operated with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, replacing the current Airbus A320. In other words, Qatar Airways will fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 to Warsaw every day.
