With almost all flights canceled due to COVID-19, Vilnius Airport has teamed up with the Vilnius International Film Festival. And so it came about cinema drive-in at Vilnius Airport.

The first film ran on April 29, 2020. Parasite, a South Korean drama that won the Oscar. About 150 cars were present to watch the film.

Social distancing measures meant that vehicles had to be parked at a distance of at least two meters, with a maximum of two people per vehicle.

According to the airport's travel theme, the organizers plan to present films from different continents each week.
