Berlin Schonefeld, Faro-Algarve (Portugal) and Henri Coandă Bucharest, followed by Porto and Larnaca (Cyprus) airports, in the first three places in this category.

In February, in the category of airports with over 25 millions of passengers, the ranking is: Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, Barcelona El Prat, Dublin, Copenhagen and Madrid Barajas.
In the 10 - 25 category of millions of passengers, Bonn Koln, Alicante, Athens, Malaga and Edinburgh airports ranked first, and in the category under 5 million passengers, the ranking is: Ohrid (Macedonia), Santorini (Greece) , Maribor (Slovenia), Harkov (Ukraine), Hammerfest (Norway).
In February 2016, Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport recorded air traffic of 681.185 passengers and 7.625 aircraft movements (landings and take-offs).

Compared to the same month last year, the number of passengers who passed AIHCB in February 2016 increased by 21,8%. The evolution of the number of passengers at Henri Coanda Airport significantly outweighs the general trend of 10,3%, registered at European level.
Henri Coandă Airport also registered an increase in the number of aircraft movements, also surpassing the European trend, which reached 7,2%. Thus, in February, the number of aircraft movements on AIHCB increased by 11,44% compared to the same month last year.
