Iasi International Airport: over 125.000 of passengers in August
Iasi Airport ended August with traffic over 125.600 of passengers and, for the third time in a row, exceeds the threshold of 100.000 of people.
Passenger traffic increased by 278% compared to August of the year 2016, and compared to the same month of the year 2015, the increase is 251%. So, we are talking about the biggest increase in traffic ever recorded by Iasi Airport in a single month.

The figures indicate, by implication, an evolution of the number of travelers from the beginning of the year to the present. Thus, the number of those who transited the airport from Iasi, in this interval, reached 749.785, with over 40% more than the same period last year and over 224% compared to the same interval in 2015.
And in the chapter "aircraft movements" (landings and take-offs) in August, there is an increase of almost 17 percent, compared to the same month of the year 2016.
