The construction of the passenger terminal of Brasov International Airport has an execution advance of 32 days. The resistance structure and the roof are completely completed, 90% of the glass curtain walls are made, and 40% of everything that means interior finishes and installation works are already executed.
Thus, the space on the ground floor where passengers will go through the formalities for domestic flights through two boarding gates, is largely ready. The escalators that provide access to the floor have already been installed. The interior concrete stairs were also built and the walls were installed.

On the first floor, where there will be three boarding gates for international flights, the walls were mostly covered with glass, and the space for the future restaurant was delimited.
Also on the first floor were delimited the spaces where the security and customs control offices will be arranged, those destined for duty-free shops and those related to the boarding gates, and the works at the installations will be started.
In the next period, the manufacturer will start installing the security systems ordered in Germany as early as February, as well as the necessary equipment for luggage transfer.
Adrian-Ioan Veştea, the president of the Braşov County Council, inspected the state of the works and concluded: “I assure the people of Brasov that we will have the most beautiful airport in Romania. I hope that next year, after we will complete all the works, we will have the first takeoff and the first landing at Brasov International Airport ”.
