Air Berlin has launched the Berlin Tegel-Kaliningrad route

On 5 June, Air Berlin has launched the route Berlin Tegel-Kaliningrad. The service is honored with 3 weekly flights made by aircraft DHC-8-402s bomber (Q400s), operated by Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter!

Kaliningrad (in Russian Калининград, in German Königsberg, in Polish Królewiec, in Lithuanian Karaliaučius), an administrative center city of the region of the same name, a Russian slave from the Baltic Sea. It has 440 thousand inhabitants (45% of the population of Kaliningrad region) and was founded in 1255 by the Germans.

This route is the only one that connects Berlin (Tegel) - Germany with the Russian slave Kaliningrad.
