Air Canada has suspended flights to Mexico and the Caribbean.

As of January 31, Air Canada has temporarily suspended flights to destinations in Mexico and the Caribbeane. The measure applies for 90 days, in response to new measures taken by the Canadian authorities in the process of limiting the spread of new strains of COVID-19.

Following consultations with the federal government, Air Canada has agreed to suspend operations to 15 destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean between January 31 and April 30.

Air Canada will perform repatriation flights.

To ensure that Canadian citizens are not stranded abroad, Air Canada will operate several repatriation flights from the affected cities.

Suspended flights will be to and from the following destinations: Cayo Coco, Cancun, Liberia, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Varadero, Puerto Vallarta, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Kingston, Mexico, Nassau, Providenciales, San Jose.

In case of canceled flights, customers will receive full refunds because there is no other alternative.
