In the second year in a row, Air Canada Red resumed flights to / from Romania. Today, June 7, 2019, the Bucharest - Montreal route was inaugurated. On June 9, 2019, the flights on the route Bucharest - Toronto will be resumed.
The routes are operated seasonally, until October 7. Between June 24 and September 7, Air Canada Rouge scheduled 3 weekly flights on each route. The flights will last approximately 10 hours and will be operated with Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

Passengers can opt for 2 fare classes, Economy and Premium Rouge. Economy class design it provides comfort for passengers and more legroom. Also, Economy class includes on board airfare, refreshments and hold baggage of up to 23 kilograms.
Premium Red class it offers relaxation space for passengers, wider seating and more legroom. Premium Rouge passengers have the possibility to carry two hold baggage, each with a maximum capacity of 23 kilograms, respectively and have priority at check-in and boarding. On board the aircraft, the passengers of the Premium Rouge class have a gourmet menu, the food being served in porcelain dishes.

Before boarding, passengers must unload the Air Canada app, available in the App Store and Google Play, to enjoy a selection of new releases, serials, music, children's shows and more. These can be viewed on your laptop or any Apple or Android device. Upon request and for a fee (a small fee), passengers can borrow an iPad. They are available for free in Premium Rouge cabins.
The novelty for the flights operated in 2019 is introduction of high speed wi-fi internet, satellite, which allows the user to post live video, browse the Internet and shop in-flight.
Air Canada Rouge launched as a low cost operator, a subsidiary of Air Canada. He took a series of long-haul flights from Air Canada's portfolio and sought to come up with good services at affordable prices. From what I see these days, Air Canada Rouge is heading to the leisure area. And, newer, it has an opening towards operation of charter flights.
