Air Caribbean ordered 3 A350-1000 aircraft

On 20 December 2013, Air Caribbean ordered 3 planes A350-1000, the largest model in the A350XWB family. He also announced that he would rent 3 A350-900 units from ILFC. Aircraft will enter operational service during the 2016-2022 period.

Airbus A350-1000 Air Caribbean will be able to carry up to 439 of passengers in a three class configuration, and A350-900 will be able to carry 387 of passengers. The planes will operate flights between Paris and Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Marteen, Haiti, Saint-Domingue and French Guiana. Currently, these routes are operated by five A330 aircraft.

Including this firm order from Air Caraïbes, the Airbus A350 XWB project has won orders for 817 units from 37 of air carriers.
