Air Europa has commissioned 14 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft
On 15 January 2015, Air Europa and Boeing have entered into an agreement for 14 aircraft Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, worth 3.6 billion at list prices, the largest widebody aircraft order received by Boeing from a Spanish carrier.
Air Europa now has total orders for 22 Dreamliner aircraft (8 units 787-8 and 14 units 787-9). The Spanish operator continues the transition to a long-haul all Boeing fleet.
Air Europa opted for the Boeing Dreamliner, being a new model, with a very good and comfortable operating cost for passengers. It is faster, quieter, more comfortable and more efficient. The first 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft will arrive in the Air Europa fleet starting with 2016.
Air Europa has become one of the largest airlines in Spain. It operates a fleet of 47 aircraft and flies to 44 from domestic and European and American destinations.
