Starting with 02 March 2015, the Air Europa company introduces the fee for re-issuing tickets for passengers with the wrong name. The tax is applied for the following situations: incorrect name / surname with more than 3 letters, inverted first name with last name, reversing of first surname with second, reversing of first surname with second, etc. Tickets can be reissued starting March 02 through TAL Aviation, and the fee is 25 euros.

The fee does not apply for errors of maximum 3 letters according to the IATA conditions (without being an essential change of name or surname). If there is an obvious change in the passenger, a refund of the ticket and a new issue must be made at the fare available at the time of reissue. The fee cannot be applied for name changes made on the day of the flight to the airport.

If you have other problems and cannot be resolved at the check-in desk, contact your travel agency or airline.
