Air Force One, for the 11th time at London Stansted Airport

Today, 3 June 2019, President of the United States Donald Trumop and First Lady Melania Trump landed in London. For the 11th time, Air Force One visits London Stansted Airport.

The aircraft landed shortly before 09: 00. The US delegation was welcomed by Foreign Secretary Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt and Steve Griffiths, Chief Operating Officer London Stansted.

Thus, Air Force One arrives for the 11th time at London Stansted Airport. As with any high-level visit, special security and protocol measures are taken.

According to information provided by London Stansted Airport, this visit is ending one of the busiest times for Stansted Airport.

Stansted International Airport has hosted over 200 of additional flights

Last week, Stansted International Airport hosted over 200 of additional flights (charters and line flights). And this was due to the sporting events that took place in Madrid and Baku.

Tottenham Hotspur FC and Liverpool played in the UEFA Champions League final in Madrid. While Chelsea and Arsenal played in the UEFA Europa League final in Baku.

A highlight was the visit of an Airbus A380, for the first time to London Stansted. We're talking about the Hi Fly aircraft, which carried 300 fans to the boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz. The match took place in New York and ended with the victory of Andy Ruiz.
