The Air France - KLM Group reported a 3.2% increase in the number of passengers carried in December 2013 compared to the same period in 2012. It carried 6.2 million passengers in December 2013 and 78 passengers throughout the year, up 444% compared to 000.

At the same time, the transport capacity increased with 2.1% in December 2013, and the degree of loading of aircraft with 0.9% and reached an average of 82.8%, a pretty good load factor.

The situation by regions in 2013 was like this:

Europa - traffic increased by 3.8%, capacity decreased by 2.2%, loading increased by 4.3% and reached 74.5%;
Africa and the Middle East - traffic increased by 2.8%, capacity increased by 3.4%, load decreased by 0.5% and reached 81.9%;
Caribbean and Indian Ocean - traffic increased by 1,8%, capacity increased by 1,0%, load factor increased by 0,7% to 83.7%;
America - traffic increased by 6,5%, capacity increased by 6,3%, load factor increased 0.1% to 87,5%;
Asia - the traffic decreased by 0.7%, the capacity did not oscillate at all, the loading factor decreased by 0.6%.

In 2014, the Franco-Dutch group will reorganize its environment-courier activity from its hubs. From 2 February 2014, KLM will fly to Santiago de Chile. From 31 March to 2014, Air France will operate flights on the Paris - Stavanger route (Norway). From 30 March to 2014 and throughout the entire 2014 summer season, Air France will fly daily with A380 to San Francisco. In December 2013, the Air France-KLM group received a firm offer from Germans from Intro Aviation for CityJet. The transaction is to be completed in Q1 2014. And 2014 is just beginning!
