Since the beginning of the COVID crisis, Air France has done everything possible to assist its customers, allowing them to easily check the health documents requested by the authorities in the destination country. This information is updated in real time on the site airfrance.traveldoc.aero.

Air France launches the "Ready to Fly" platform to check travel documents and simplify the boarding process.

A few days before departure, customers traveling (on eligible flights) receive an email inviting them to upload their health documents on an Air France online platform. These documents are then checked and if they are complete and correct, a confirmation message is sent to the customer. The boarding passes issued will then be marked "Ready to Fly", allowing them to be processed quickly by Air France teams at the airport on the day of departure.

If a document is missing or incomplete, customers receive a notification message inviting them to upload the missing documents to the platform or present them at the airport on the day of their trip.

With "Ready to Fly", the airline takes a step further, giving its customers the certainty that they know they have all the necessary health documents for their trip before arriving at the airport.

With "Ready to Fly", Air France ensures its customers a relaxed start to the journey, knowing that they have all the documents they need. This free and optional service also ensures an easier transition of customers, through the airport, by eliminating successive checks. Successfully tested in June, "Ready to Fly" will be available from July 17 for flights from Paris to Corsica and the French islands, before being gradually launched for a growing number of destinations.

Air France will operate 81 seasonal routes, including 23 new routes - in addition to the regular schedule. More than 40 domestic summer routes will be served. There will be direct flights to the island of Corsica from Paris, Bordeaux, Caen, Lille, Lyon, Pau, Rennes, Strasbourg and Nantes.

In Europe, new routes will be operated to leisure destinations, such as Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy, departing from Paris and the French regions. Overall and compared to the summer of 2019, Air France will increase capacity to Greece by almost 80% and capacity to Portugal by almost 25%.
