From August 30 to September 8, Air France is sponsoring the 39th edition of at the American film festival in Deauville. Throughout the year, the company offers a selection of American films on board aircraft, in all cabin classes.


Air France has one of the richest entertainment programs available on board aircraft. Passengers can watch one of the 125 movies, listen to about 3.000 music titles, play, watch TV shows. Each month, the company adds new features to the in-flight entertainment program, including a selection of the latest American movies.

From July 2013, passengers can enjoy the entertainment program as soon as they get on board the planes. Thus, they earn an extra hour of movies, music, games. This system is available on 19 long-haul aircraft, including the entire Airbus A380, Boeing 777-300 and 747-400 fleets. The system will be installed on the entire fleet of long-haul aircraft.

Air France operates flights to 11 destinations from the USA departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco and Washington.

More than that, Air France and KLM operates in partnership with Delta Air Lines and Alitalia the largest transatlantic joint venture with over 250 daily flights, representing 24% of the capacity of transatlantic flights worldwide. In 2012, this transatlantic joint venture has generated revenues of 12 billion dollars.
