Air France to launch the largest boarding lounge (video)
Air France opened a new boarding satellite on Thursday Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, following an investment of 580 million.
The new S4 boarding satellite of 2E terminal It has an area of 100.000 square meters and capacity of 7,8 million passengers annually. 6.000 square meters are occupied by shops, bars and restaurants, and 25.000 square meters are dedicated to lounge areas.
The building incorporates design elements such as water walls, green areas or trees inside. A museum will open soon, presenting original works of well-known museums in Paris, company representatives announced.
Returning to the boarding lounge, this one will be available to Air France and SkyTeam passengers from June 28 2012. It will have 3.000 square meters, and everything looks like a park. Passengers will have, among other things, wi-fi connectivity, computers or tablets, as well as a treatment and beauty area.
