Air India Receives 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliner (Livery Star Alliance)

On 31 March 2015, Air India received the 20 Dreamliner from the fleet. It was built at Boeing plants in North Charleston, South Carolina. The first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner under the colors of Air India was delivered on 7 September 2012.

After 2.5 years, Air India can boast a special status, being 4 the world's largest airline with 20 of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft in the fleet. The others are: ANA, Japan Airlines and Qatar Airways.

Air India continues its development plan, and a new aircraft such as the Boeing 787 comes with many advantages. In addition to the increased comfort offered to passengers, it also offers advantages to the airline through the low cost of maintenance and operation.

The new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner comes in the colors of the alliance Star Alliance, being the first Dreamliner in this livery.
