Following the sanctions imposed on the import of fruits and vegetables by the authorities of the Russian Federation, starting with 21 July 2014, the company Air Moldova decided to support the domestic producer.
Thus, Air Moldova will offer apples to the passengers of its flights, which are purchased from the farmers in the Republic of Moldova. Through this action, the company intends to support the domestic producer to sell its products on the domestic market of the country.
The purchased products will be offered to passengers at all Air Moldova flights, starting with August 18 2014. The company transports monthly around 60 000 passengers to all its destinations. The Government of the Republic of Moldova welcomed this initiative.
At the same time, Air Moldova calls on all institutions and all entrepreneurs to follow this example of supporting the domestic producer. This action will demonstrate national solidarity.
