Air New Zealand, New Zealand's leading air carrier based at Auckland Airport, is promoting the film "The Hobbit" with a dedicated livery on a Boeing 777-300. The aircraft left the Auckland hangars on Saturday. Air New Zealand is not the first of its kind. In the past, he also supported the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy with 4 special logos.

The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey and Lord of Rings were filmed in New Zealand, hence the partnership with the local air carrier. The film The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey will be officially released for the first time, on 28 November, in New Zealand, followed by 14 December in cinemas in Romania.

The aircraft Boeing 777-319 ER ZK-OKP (msn 39041) has already entered the operational program on flights to Los Angeles and London (Heathrow).
