Air New Zealand celebrates 15 years of Star Alliance with a special logo
Air New Zealand Limited, the national airline of New Zealand and based in Auckland, celebrates 15 years since the establishment of the Star Alliance airline. The moment is marked by a special livery applied to the aircraft Airbus A320-232 ZK-OJH. Specifically, the "15 years" logo was added to the Star Alliance standard livery.
We remind you that on 14 May 1997, five airlines, namely United Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Thai Airways International and Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) launched Star Alliance. The 5 logo corners represent the 5 founding airlines.
Air New Zealand joined the Star Alliance in March 1999.
