Air Serbia opens the summer charter season for 2021, with a total of seven return flights between Belgrade and Hurghada, which will be operated until May 8, during the Easter and International Labor Day holidays. Serbia's national airline will operate flights using Airbus A319 aircraft, each with a configuration of 144 seats.

"It is our pleasure that, together with our partners, travel agencies, we can start the resumption of charter flights, for which there is traditionally a great interest from passengers. We are glad that this spring and summer we can operate these flights again and we hope that this season will be better than last year, given that passengers will have access to a wider range of destinations. ", said Boško Rupić, Head of Commerce and Corporate Sales, Air Serbia.

In the summer season of 2021, Air Serbia, in cooperation with domestic travel agencies, intends to operate over 800 charter flights to popular destinations in Turkey, Egypt, Greece and Tunisia.

Charter flights to Turkey will be organized mainly to the Antalya region, but there are also plans for Bodrum and Dalaman, on the Aegean coast. When it comes to Egypt, flights to Hurghada will be operated on a larger scale, with a slightly smaller number of flights to Sharm El-Sheikh. As far as Greece is concerned, passengers can expect travel arrangements with direct charter flights to Rhodes, Crete, Skiathos, Corfu, Kefalonia and other popular destinations.

From September 2020, all air passengers entering the Arab Republic of Egypt, through any airport, must have a PCR-type molecular test with a negative result for SARS-CoV-2 infection, performed a maximum of 72 hours prior to the trip. The only people exempted from the measure of presenting a PCR test upon entering the territory of the Arab Republic of Egypt are children under 6 years of age. There are no other categories of people exempted.
