On December 17, the last Boeing 737-300 airBaltic took off for the last time. The aircraft registered YL-BBX was received by the new owner - Magnetic MRO, which purchased 3 more Boeing 737 aircraft from airBaltic earlier this year.

AirBaltic introduced the first Boeing 737 in 2003. Over the years, 20 Boeing 737s have carried more than 22 million passengers and more than 280 flights across Europe and beyond.

The Boeing 737 gave airBaltic significantly more autonomy, more seats, and higher flight speeds.

These new features have allowed the airline to expand the network and add new destinations to the operational network, such as Tel Aviv, Lisbon or Baku.

Magnetic MRO AS (formerly known as Maersk Air Maintenance Estonia or Air Maintenance Estonia) is an aircraft maintenance company based in Tallinn, Estonia.

The company offers a full range of commercial aircraft maintenance services, being certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The company operates worldwide and is a subsidiary of Guangzhou Hangxin Aviation Technology.
