In October 1995, airBaltic began operations from Riga to 4 destinations. Today, airBaltic operates direct flights from Riga to 60 of destinations, and its fleet has grown to 30 of modern aircraft (7 x Bombardier CS300, 11 x Boeing 737 and 12 x Bombardier Q400 Next Gen).

airBaltic offers good connections through Riga to its network covering Europe, Scandinavia, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius.
