AirBerlin gives up Bucharest-Berlin Tegel route, from 25 February 2017
AirBerlin gives up several European routes
The not-so-happy news comes from AirBerlin. From 25 February 2017, AirBerlin will cancel the Bucharest - Berlin Tegel route. This decision comes from new development strategies. From what I have observed, AirBerlin will abandon several European routes, and part of the fleet will pass through the competitor Lufthansa's yard.
AirBerlin gives up the Bucharest - Berlin Tegel route
Ryanair will be the only airline with 14 weekly flights (2 / day) on the Bucharest - Berlin Schönefeld route, which has so far been operating at very low rates. By combining some promotions, I managed to fly the route Bucharest - Berlin - Bucharest at the price of 0 lei. Will after 25 February, Ryanair keep these rates low?
And the evolution of Blue Air is to be followed. We know that from 1 June 2017, Blue Air will inaugurate the Iasi - Berlin Tegel route. It could also enter Bucharest - Berlin Tegel!
