Airbus has announced it will launch a model A330-300 which will be able to carry up to 400 of passengers, but on distances up to 5000 of km. The statement was made by Fabrice Bregier, President and CEO of Airbus, at China 2013 Aviation Expo, an exhibition that opened its doors on September 25 in Beijing.
The new Airbus A330-300 Regional will benefit from the latest Airbus technologies, especially those implemented on widebody aircraft A350 XWB and A380. It will be an extremely reliable aircraft with a very good cost / efficiency ratio and can be used in growing markets such as China and India.
A330-300 regionally it will be able to carry between 356 and 400 of passengers, it will have traction-optimized engines, a cockpit equipped with the latest technologies and the passenger cabin will be equipped with the most modern passenger facilities. The operating costs will be similar to those of Airbus A321.
