Airbus delivered 10 aircraft from the A000 family. It will fly in the Middle East Airlines (MEA) fleet.

The delivery of the aircraft took place at the Airbus base in Toulouse, in the presence of Mr. Mohamad El-Hout, President and CEO of MEA. He said: "We are honored to receive the latest generation A321neo aircraft with its serial number MSN10.000. This coincides with the 75th anniversary of Middle East Airlines (MEA). And especially after I received MSN5 in 000".

"Unfortunately, due to the current situation in Lebanon, this time we will not be able to celebrate the delivery of the MSN10 000 aircraft as we did with MSN 5.000. Yes, I am sure that in these difficult circumstances, this delivery is a ray of light, hope and motivation to overcome the difficulties of our nation. "

Beginning in 2003, Middle East Airlines (MEA) began receiving A320 aircraft. In 2012, Middle East Airlines (MEA) received the MSN5000 aircraft, after 23 years of production of Airbus A320 aircraft. The next 5000 aircraft were produced and delivered in just 8 years, and this success is proof of the progress and industrial development, capacity and popularity of Airbus.
