Airbus A220 starts a tour in the Pacific region

Airbus has launched a demonstration tour in the Pacific region to introduce the new A220. The aircraft used is an A220-300 rented from AirBaltic, Latvia.

The tournament will include 9 destinations from 7 countries. The first stop will be in Vanuatu, the home of Air Vanuatu, the launch customer for A220 in the region. The aircraft will then visit Australia (Sydney and Brisbane), New Zealand (Auckland), New Caledonia (Noumea) and Papua New Guinea (Port Moresby). Upon return to Europe, the aircraft will stop in Cambodia (Phnom Penh) and India (Bangalore and New Delhi).

The plane will be static exposed so that it can be visited by representatives of the local media, officials and representatives of the airlines. Demonstration flights will also be organized for the airline directors in the region and their invitations.

Airbus A220-300 AirBaltic aircraft is configured in a 145 seating class. It offers increased comfort to passengers, benefiting from one of the most spacious cabins encountered on single-aisle aircraft.
