Airbus A321LR, painted in Gulf Air's "70th anniversary" livery

Gulf Air, the national air carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received its new Airbus A321LR, which landed at the new terminal of Bahrain International Airport, Friday, February 5, 2021.

The aircraft is painted in a special livery "Golden Falcon ” to mark Gulf Air's 70th anniversary. It presents the iconic and vintage design of the airline from the last century.

Following its delivery from Airbus base in Hamburg, Germany, the new A321LR Gulf Air will operate long-haul flights to European destinations, but also to destinations within the Gulf Cooperation Council. This is the second aircraft in a 17 x A321neo control, 8 of which are equipped with seats that can be transformed into completely flat beds.

Gulf Air was the first airline in the Middle East to introduce completely flat beds on this type of aircraft.

The new Airbus A321neo / LR Gulf Air planes come equipped in 2 comfortable classes: 16 seats in Business Class and 150 seats in Economy Class. We mention that the Business Class chairs are Falcon Gold and can be transformed into completely flat beds.

The propulsion of Airbus A321neo / LR Gulf Air aircraft is provided by CFM LEAP-1A engines. On board, passengers will be able to enjoy high-speed wireless internet.
