After a long test program, EASA and FAA have certified the Airbus A321neo model with CFM LEAP-1A propulsion.
Following a test program, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) granted the Airbus A321neo Type Certification with CFM LEAP-1A propulsion.

Thus, customers interested in this model of aircraft can choose between the 2 types of engines (CFM LEAP-1A and Pratt & Whitney PW1100G).
The test program included over 400 flight hours recorded in approximately 160 flights. The tests pushed the aircraft's systems beyond their design limits, thus meeting all airworthiness criteria.
To date, the Airbus A320neo family has collected orders for 5000 from units over 90 from customers worldwide.
