Airbus A350-1000 begins the tour in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific
Airbus A350-1000, the newest member of the A350 XWB widebody aircraft family, has embarked on a demonstration trip to the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The tournament will last 3 weeks.
This demonstration tour comes at the end of the testing period, which ended with FAA and EASA certification. At the same time, Airbus A350-1000 takes this tour before the first delivery, which is scheduled for February. Launch client for Airbus A350-1000 is Qatar Airways.
Airbus A350-1000 begins the tour
During the tour, the Airbus A350-1000 (MSN065) will arrive in 12 destinations in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. It will fly over 55 000 kilometers and stop at Doha, Muscat, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, Hanoi, Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney, Auckland, Tokyo and Manila. During the 6-8 February 2018, the aircraft will be static exposed at the Singapore Airshow 2018.
A350-1000 (MSN065) is one of the 3 test aircraft. It is equipped with cabin configured in 3 standard classes: 40 seats in Business Class, 36 seats in Economy Plus and 219 seats in Economy Comfort. On the sleeve are test pilots from Airbus.
To date, Airbus A350-1000 has attracted orders for 169 from units from 11 customers, from 5 continents.
