Airbus A350-1000 Qatar Airways, New York from 28 October
Qatar Airways has announced the introduction of Airbus A350-1000 on the Doha - New York JFK route starting with October 28.
Qatar Airways was the launch customer of Airbus's newest aircraft - A350-1000. The first A350-1000 Qatar Airways was delivered on 20 in February, and the first commercial flights were operated on the Doha - London route.
On August 1, Qatar Airways announced the introduction of the A350-1000 to New York JFK starting with October 28. This will be the first destination in the US to fly the most modern aircraft in the fleet of the Qatarez carrier. Qatar Airways serves 2018 cities in the US, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC.

The A350-1000 offers a total of 327 seats in two cabins: 46 at Business Class Qsuite and 281 seats at Economy Class. The aircraft offers increased levels of comfort for passengers with advanced air conditioning technologies and complete LED lighting. Plus it offers the lowest engine noise compared to other commercial aircraft.
Like younger brother A350-900, and A350-1000 is made of composite materials (53%), titanium and aluminum alloys. New engines are more operationally efficient. Also, the A350-1000 features a new general landing system, with 3 axles and six wheels on the main legs.
