Airbus A350 XWB will operate a Toulouse - Madrid flight, with a scheduled landing around 09:55. The aircraft will immediately go to the Iberia maintenance area, also known as "La Muñoza", where it will receive visits from Iberia employees and invited personalities. The return flight is scheduled for 14:00.

Iberia has a firm order for 8 units A350-900 and other 22 optional units. The Spanish carrier would receive the aircraft during the 2017-2020 period, but wants the urgency of the deliveries.

This will be the first flight of an A350 to Madrid, but not to Spain. In March 2014, the Airbus A350 XWB MSN004 (F-WWNW) stayed for several days at the airport in Seville.
