Airbus A350-900ULR will have autonomy of 17 964 km / 19 hours
Airbus has officially announced the maximum distance the new A350-900ULR will be able to fly!
In 2016, Airbus announced the release A350-900ULR (Ultra-Long Range), a very long-range aircraft. Singapore Airlines will be the launch customer, and the aircraft will operate flights on S routesingapore - New York and Singapore - Los Angeles.

When the A350-900ULR version was announced, a range of up to 8700 miles (16112.40 km) was reported. Airbus comes and corrects these figures, noting that Singapore Airlines has referred to the distance they will operate. But the new one Airbus A350-900ULR will have a range of up to 9700 miles (17964 km). It will be able to operate flights up to 19 hours.
To achieve this performance, Airbus will make a significant upgrade to the standard version of the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Additional tanks will be fitted to increase fuel capacity by 17%.
A350-900ULR will be able to carry up to 165 000 liters of fuel in existing tanks, with 24 000 liters more than the standard version, will have MTOW (Maximum takeoff weight) of 280 tons and will benefit from some aerodynamic improvements. Airbus A350-900ULR (Ultra-Long Range) will offer the greatest flexibility in operational service, and the airlines will be able to reconfigure the planes according to the served destinations.
