Airbus A350 XWB - first touchdown in the UK (video)
On 10 April 2014, the aircraft Airbus A350 XWB (MSN3) operated the first landing on the airport Cotswold, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, as part of routine certification tests. Frank Chapman, a London-born test pilot, was at the helm of the aircraft.
MSN3 is one of four Airbus A350 XWB aircraft used for testing. In the Airbus A350 XWB certification campaign, over 2500 flight hours will be operated with a fleet consisting of five A350 XWB aircraft.
