The world's newest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A350 XWB, will make its first demonstration tour in China. It is scheduled for June 25 - July 2. The A350 XWB (MSN2) test aircraft will fly to Beijing (PEK), Shanghai (SHA), Guangzhou (CAN), Haikou (HAK) and Chengdu (CTU).

Airbus also has orders from Chinese operators. China Eastern Airlines has ordered 20 from A350-900 aircraft, placed in April 2016. Air China also ordered 10 x A350-900. The 2 orders placed by the Chinese operators contributed to this presentation tour.

China is one of the fastest growing markets for air transport, and Airbus provided 50% of its fleet of commercial aircraft in China.

At the same time, the Chinese aviation industry has contributed to the development of the Airbus A350 XWB. The Airbus Engineering Center in Beijing and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China participated in the development of this aircraft. Airbus says that about 5% of the body of the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft is made in China.

The aircraft has a "carbon" livery and is part of the test fleet of the Airbus A350 XWB program. At the same time, it is one of the 2 test aircraft equipped with a fully functional cabin. It has a configuration of two standard classes: 42 seats in Business Class and 210 seats in Economy Class.

To date, Airbus has registered firm orders for 800 of A350 XWB aircraft from 42 customers. The figures show that the A350 XWB is one of the most successful widebody aircraft to date.
