Airbus A380 British Airways (G-XLEA) teamed with Red Arrows at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2013. The Aviation Show took place during the 20-21 July and was watched by over 150 000 by spectators at RAF Military Base Fairford, Gloucestershire.

On 4 July 2013, British Airways has acquired the first Airbus A380. A period of testing and crew training follows. The first commercial flights will be made on the route London - Frankfurt, following as from September 11th to fly to Los Angeles, and from 22 October to Hong Kong.

On 2002, on the 10th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II (Golden Jubilee), the Red Arrows team escorted a Concorde owned by British Airways.
