On 14 March 2014, Airbus A380 Korean Air Prague. A single flight operated from Seoul was scheduled, with the A380 aircraft replacing A330 / B747 for the moment. The aircraft was greeted by Czech officials, the Korean ambassador, the profile press, spotlights and hundreds of aviation enthusiasts.
This is the 3 A380 that landed in the capital of the Czech Republic. The first was A380 Lufthansa in a crew training program, and the second was an A380 Emirates that landed for a medical emergency.
Korean Air has 8 fleet A380 units from 10 ordered, all configured in 3 classes: 12 seats in First Class, 94 seats in Business Class (the largest business class on a mixed-configuration aircraft) and 301 seats in Economy Class.
As much as we would like an A380 at Henri Coanda Airport, unfortunately we will not be able to enjoy superjumbo too soon. The tread patterns are not suitable for this aircraft model. But the Bucharest airport can receive Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 787, Airbus A330 and many other long-haul models.
