Airbus has reached its target for 2021: 611 aircraft delivered!

Airbus SE (stock symbol: AIR) delivered 611 commercial aircraft to 88 customers in 2021, demonstrating resilience and advancing business acceleration plans.

According to the Airbus report, the major European aircraft manufacturer delivered 611 aircraft in 2021, 8% more than in 2020. Of these, most were from the Airbus A320 family, 483 in number. 55 of the planes delivered were from the Airbus A350 family, and 50 of the planes were from the A220 family.

In 2021, Airbus delivered the last 5 A380 aircraft. Last Airbus A380 assembled was delivered to Emirates, which ended in a super-jumbo era.

Airbus was also good with new orders. In 2021, Airbus recorded double the number of gross orders compared to 2020, with 771 new sales (507 net) in all programs and market segments, demonstrating the strength of the company's full product range and heralding renewed confidence in the market.

The A220 has won orders for 64 aircraft and several major commitments from some of the world's largest carriers. The A320neo family won new gross orders for 661 aircraft. In the wide-body segment, Airbus won new gross orders for 46 aircraft: 30 x A330 and 16 x A350, of which 11 for the new A350F, which also won 11 other commitments. In total, at the end of 2021, the number of Airbus orders included 7082 aircraft.
