On November 20, 2015, Copa Airlines (NYSE: CPA) received the 100th aircraft in the 737th family. It is covered by an anniversary livery, the number "100" being painted on the back.
The Boeing 737-800, which is chartered from SMBC Aviation Capital, flew from Seattle to the Panama City Airlines base in Panama City and was greeted with a special ceremony.
Copa Airlines operates an 77 fleet of 737 family aircraft (13 x 737-700 and 64 x 737-800). In April, the Panama-based airline signed an order for 61 of 737 MAX aircraft.
