Alaska Airlines has ordered 50 from Boeing 737 aircraft

And Boeing Alaska Airlines have announced an order for 50 aircraft Boeing 737 - 20 737 MAX 8, 17 737 MAX 9 and 13 Next-Generation 737-900ER aircraft. The order was valued at about 5 billion dollars, based on the list price and is the largest in Alaska Airlines history. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered during the 2015 - 2022 period.

Alaska Airlines currently operates 120 Boeing 737 aircraft. Alaska Airlines, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK), together with partner carriers serve 95 from destinations in Alaska, Lower 48, Hawaii, Canada and Mexico.
