On the night of March 19-20, there was a bomb alert (which later turned out to be false) aboard a Wizz Air plane flying from Kutaisi to Warsaw. The aircraft involved is an Airbus A321neo model, indicative of HA-LVI.

The aircraft was escorted by fighter jets, which are provided by the air police of Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.

After the plane landed in Warsaw for a few hours, the airport was closed, during which time all other flights were diverted to Katowice.

"Before 22:00, the airport authorities of the Chopin Airport in Warsaw received information that there was a shovel bomb on board the Wizz Air plane, which was flying from Kutaisi (Georgia). Procedures appropriate to the situation have been activated. The alarm turned out to be false. "
