Alitalia increases transport capacity on the Rome - Tehran route

From 30 October to 2016, with the transition to the winter season 2016-2017, Alitalia decided to increase the carrying capacity on route Rome - Tehran. Currently, flights on this route are operated by aircraft of the type Airbus A320.

From the end of October, Alitalia will start operating the Rome - Tehran route with A330 aircraft, thus increasing transport capacity by 55%.

The aircraft Airbus A330 will offer 262 seats in 2 classes: 22 seats in Business Class and 240 seats in Economy Class. At the same time, cargo capacity will increase with 70 of tonnes per week.

The planes are equipped with recently modernized interiors, equipped with "Made in Italy", facilities and services for customers. It will include Wi-Fi connectivity for phone calls, internet and email.

The timetable will also be changed. The daily flight will take off from Rome Fiumicino at 15.00 and land at 22: 10 in Tehran. The return flight from Tehran will take off at 04: 30 and land at 07: 15, in Rome.
