All Nippon Airways (ANA) has completed order for 40 widebody aircraft

On 31 July 2014, All Nippon Airways (ANA) completed the order for Boeing's widebody 40 (20 x 777-9X, 14 x 787-9 Dreamliner and 6 x 777-300ER (Extended Range)). The order is valued at 13 billion dollars at list price, and the commitment was signed in March 2014.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) implements the fleet modernization and renewal plan. Also today, the Japanese airline completed the order for 30 of aircraft of the A320neo family.

ANA was the launch customer for Boeing 787, thus becoming the world's largest customer for Dreamliner. Currently, ANA operates a fleet of 29 of 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft, and 51 of units is custom-built, including 43 of 787-9 aircraft.

The Boeing 777X project has gathered orders for 300 units from 6 customers, ANA being one of them.
