All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced an order of three Boeing 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft. The order is worth about 945 million dollars, at the list price. Once delivered, the ANA fleet will have 57 of 777 aircraft.
ANA, the launch customer and airline operator with the largest Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, strategically expands its aircraft fleet based on business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific area.
Currently, the Boeing 777 is the most successful aircraft equipped with two long-haul engines. 777-300ER is equipped with the most powerful commercial aircraft engines in the world, the GE90-115B. It can carry up to 386 passengers in a three-class configuration, and the range can be up to 14,685 km. Boeing received orders for 1460 from 777 aircraft from 66 customers.
