After 12 years break, All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to resume flights on the Tokyo Narita-Yangon (Myanmar) route. The Myanmar Union begins to recover after 10 years of isolation. Due to the previous political regime, Myanmar has lost a lot in its struggle with development and living standards.

Following the elections earlier this month, the situation in Myanmar is starting to return to normal. The number of flight requests to Japan has increased, and the economic and political relations between the two countries are better. Myanmar can also become a good tourist destination.
