On 29 July 2014, the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner under the colors All Nippon Airways (ANA) landed in Japan. ANA becomes the world's first airline with Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 in the fleet. With this delivery, the 787 Dreamliner fleet has reached 29 units, the largest in the world.

At the moment, All Nippon Airways (ANA) operates a fleet of 29 Dreamliner aircraft, and 51 units are custom made. About 60 customers have ordered over 1000 787 aircraft, with 160 already in service.
