SkyTeam

SkyTeam is the second largest airline in the world. At 22 June 2000, airlines Aeroméxico, Air France, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air joined forces for better flight and passenger benefits.

After 16 years, the alliance counts 20 full rights airlines: Aeroflot (April 14 2006) Aerolineas Argentinas (29 August 2012), Aeromexico (22 June 2000), Air Europa (4 September 2007), Air France (22 June 2000), Alitalia (13 January 2009), China Airlines (28 September 2011), China Eastern (21 June 2011), China Southern (15 November 2007), Czech Airlines (TODAY March 25), Delta Air Lines (22 June 2000), Garuda Indonesia (TODAY March 5), Kenya Airways (4 September 2007), KLM (13 September 2004), Korean Air (22 June 2000), Middle East Airlines (28 June 2012), TAROM (25 June 2010), Vietnam Airlines (10 June 2010), Saudia (29 May 2012) and Xiamen Air (November 21, 2012). The alliance's slogan is "Caring more about you"

SkyTeam Lounges

Daily, Skyteam airlines operate approximately 16.270 flights. The SkyTeam operational network comprises 1057 of destinations from 179 of countries. The SkyTeam fleet has approximately 4600 aircraft (including the fleets of partner airlines). Annually, over 665.4 million passengers choose to fly with SkyTeam airline operators. For the convenience of passengers, Skyteam has a network of 636 lounges at airports.

With SkyTeam, most airlines have developed their own loyalty system. But there is also a group of 5 airlines, including TAROM, which have adopted the program Flying Blue. Fly, win miles!

Through the SkyTeam alliance, you can plan your flights around the world through the service Round the World. You must have at least 3 stops and maximum 5 or 15, depending on the length of the flights chosen. You have to travel on 12 months with a trip around the world.
