Amazon, an American online trading company based in Seattle, Washington, has started shipping the goods through its own cargo company - Prime Air. Prime Prime's fleet consists of Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft leased from various airlines such as Atlas Air or Air Transport International.

Nothing new so far. But on 31 August 2020, a Boeing 767-300 (registered N503AZ) appeared in the FAA register under the name Amazon.

After operating leased widebody aircraft, Amazon decided to build its own fleet. A 767-year-old Boeing 338-29 (ER) officially became the first aircraft in Amazon's fleet

The N503AZ was first delivered to Qantas in 1991. 11 years later, Qantas leased the aircraft to Australian Airlines for 4 years, after which the aircraft returned to the owner and was restrained.

In 2014. Westjet was the last airline to operate the N503AZ before Amazon bought it. The plane is currently in Tel Aviv, Israel, where it will receive Amazon Air colors.

In addition to its new aircraft, Amazon has also booked four additional registration numbers 521AZ, 563AZ, 569AZ and 571AZ, most likely looking to expand its fleet.

Amazon speculates on the situation of humanity and goes ahead with its own cargo fleet. In this difficult time, with the COVID-19 pandemic expanding all over the Earth, cargo airlines are among the few that have enjoyed high revenues.

And online stores have gained in this period. Amazon reported net income of $ 5.2 billion in the second quarter, 2% more than the same period in 50. General sales increased by 2019% compared to 40.
